Chart the islands
Each island holds a different mood — pick the ones that match your trip, or let us string them into one route.
01 · Swaraj Dweep
Radhanagar Beach · entry depth 1.2m
Asia's finest stretch of sand by daylight, a reef classroom by scuba depth — Havelock is where most first Andaman trips begin and never quite end.
Discover the island →
02 · Shaheed Dweep
Natural Bridge · low tide only
Smaller, slower, greener. Coral gardens off Bharatpur, a rock bridge at Laxmanpur, and a village pace that asks you to stay one more day.
Discover the island →
03 · Capital
Cellular Jail · light show 6:30 PM
Your gateway island — the Cellular Jail's sound-and-light retelling of the freedom struggle, Corbyn's Cove, and the region's best seafood markets.
Discover the island →
04 · Mangrove Route
Limestone Caves · 90 min mangrove ride
A speedboat threads a mangrove tunnel to reach stalactite caves millions of years old — the wildest day trip on the itinerary.
Discover the island →
05 · Diglipur
Saddle Peak · Ross & Smith Islands
Remote and still mostly undiscovered — a rainforest trek to Andaman's highest point, and twin islands joined by a sandbar.
Discover the island →
06 · Rangat
Dhani Nallah Boardwalk · mangrove country
Andaman's quietest district — a wooden boardwalk straight through mangrove creeks, and a coastline most tour buses never reach.
Discover the island →
07 · Active Volcano
India's only active volcano · boat-only
A live volcano rising straight out of the sea — no jetty, no landing, just smoke, sheer cliffs, and Andaman's best pelagic diving.
Discover the island →
08 · Hornbill Sanctuary
Extinct volcano · endemic hornbill
A protected wildlife sanctuary far out in the Andaman Sea — sole home of the Narcondam hornbill, found nowhere else on Earth.

Below and above the waterline

PADI-certified instructors, Havelock's reef sites, first-timer to advanced.

Shallow-reef swims at Elephant Beach and Bharatpur — no experience needed.

A bird's-eye view of the reef, towed behind a speedboat off Corbyn's Cove.

Walk the ocean floor in a diving helmet — no swimming ability required.

Paddle Neil's dark lagoons on a moonless night as the water lights up blue.

Watch coral and reef fish from North Bay jetty without getting wet.

Government and private ferries linking Port Blair, Havelock and Neil.
From past travelers
Every ferry, every transfer, every booking was sorted before we even landed in Port Blair. Radhanagar at sunset alone was worth the trip.
Rhea & Arjun
Honeymoon Special
Did my open-water certification through their dive partner in Havelock. Instructor was patient, gear was solid, and the reef was better than Thailand.
Karan Mehta
Reef Runner
Travelled with my parents and 8-year-old — the pace was gentle, the driver was patient, and someone was always a WhatsApp message away.

Before you book
Indian nationals need no permit for Port Blair, Havelock or Neil — an ID proof at the airport is enough. A free Restricted Area Permit, arranged on arrival, is only required for a handful of tribal-belt islands like parts of Baratang and the Nicobars. Foreign nationals get a 30-day permit on landing.
October to May gives you calm seas, clear diving visibility and dry days — December to February is peak season and books out early. The monsoon (June–September) brings lower prices and fewer crowds, but ferries and water sports run on shorter notice.
Government and private ferries run daily between Port Blair, Havelock and Neil, but seats sell out fast in peak season. We pre-book yours the moment your package is confirmed, so there's nothing to queue for on the day.
Honestly patchy. Port Blair has reasonable 4G; Havelock and Neil have working but slow data, with dead zones near the beaches. Treat it as a chance to disconnect — and save your resort's WiFi password for the one photo you need to send home.
Port Blair has plenty of ATMs and most resorts accept cards. On Havelock and Neil, ATMs are limited and occasionally run dry — we always recommend carrying enough cash for two or three days as backup.
Reef-safe sunscreen (regular sunscreen is discouraged near coral), a dry bag for boat transfers, mosquito repellent for evenings, and a light jacket for early ferry rides. Government ID is compulsory at every jetty check-in.
